It's my favorite, too. I love the character development and the relationships between the characters. I only wish there could have been more episodes to explore them in. There are others that have better direction or cinematography, but I always like character-driven shows.

And Megami's dad is some random guy who runs a random business somewhere.

Re: Kamen Rider Kiva
@Dengar hes talking about the Neo Fangire battle....
your gonna have to live with that ending dude unless they give Kiva a 2nd film.
Its something new they tried, least the main story itself was wrapped up nicely.
As for Megumi's dad.......no one knows and don't make a thread about it either, i recall seeing one a few pages back and his all the speculations and theories and of course none of them will probably ever be proved.

Re: Kamen Rider Kiva
Actually the identity of Megumi's father HAS been mentioned in-series. Just not the guy himself.
As for the Neo-Fangire battle, that's not so much a battle as it's just one of those "let us keep fighting together" endings. And you know they will completely pwn those Neo-Fangire, so why show it?

Maybe he's talking about the battle between Wataru and Taiga? That's another last battle that the viewers don't get to see

I suppose it is best that Kiva ended like it did, with the prospect of new enemies. In the US, I'm sure there would have been a second season, or a spin-off. I can see it now:
"Everybody Loves Wataru": Wataru, Taiga, and Maya all live together in Castle Dran, bickering like the dysfunctional family they are. Taiga goes through a string of potential brides, none of whom are ever quite right, and whines that Mom loves baby brother best. Maya keeps inciting her boys to fight each other, all while maintaining that she doesn't have a favorite. And Wataru's attempts to get away from the family drama by indulging in a nice long soak are routinely interrupted by Nago joining him uninvited to discuss his marital woes.

Watarus son comes in at the wedding and warns them about some new enemy, they go out, sees it, henshin, rider kick and it ends

You do realise that the "new enemy" was just for laughs right? They kinda parodied their own show in the end there.
