A racing driver? I thought he just wanted to work in that field as a crew, not a driver. Oh well, I must have not pay attention to that part.

Because this isn't Power Rangers? I mean, it's not like the bad guys don't know who they are. Plus they're professional heroes and they even say who they are on their jacket. It's not that big a secret

True, but why can't they just...hide from people and cut down evil in shadows so nobody knows anything?

Not all sentai are out in the open. If I'm correct, Timeranger and Megaranger hid their identities from the rest of the world...for the most part.
