Theory on why they drive around in that mobile home...
So I'm only 10 episodes into this series and I've realized, just like every other sentai I've seen, that there's a big reason why sentai teams are based in secret locations or, like in this series, drive around in a mobile home.
It's not so that the enemy can't find them and wipe them out while they sleep.
It's so that the city and government officials can't bill them for the collateral damage they cause while they fight the giant monsters.
How many times during a fight do we see Engine-O or some other giant mecha get knocked through a building? There's a crapload of property damage, not to mention the lawsuits they'd get for killing or injuring civilians. Granted most buildings are probably evacuated by the time the sentai teams are done doing their role calls, but still, that's got to be billions of dollars of property damage each fight.
So they drive around to avoid bill collectors. I know it's what I'd do in their place. They can't even afford to go out and eat barbecue, how could they afford to repay the country for damages?

they like the fan girls, no matter what they say to the contrary.
look at how hanto was acting when he was working at that pastry shop. he wasn't doing it for money, he was doing it to talk to girls his age.

Nice theory. I wonder if it runs on electric power, of course driving around too much on gas is Gaiarkish.
Plus they're on tour.

Sousuke seemed to be pretty early into his career, at least at the higest level of racing in Japan (Super GT, which is an awesome series, my second favorite racing series after IndyCars.) Since in Episode 2, Renn asked Saki who the new guy in the red car was. He probably had made some money, but if he quit without warning, that would void any contracts and any money he was being paid to drive probably stopped showing up. Prize money no matter what the series, usually gets put back into the team, and used to pay bonuses to the crew members.

so the bottom line is who's paying the bills?Comatose wrote:So they drive around to avoid bill collectors. I know it's what I'd do in their place. They can't even afford to go out and eat barbecue, how could they afford to repay the country for damages?
and about their mobile home/ base or whatever.... how big is it? is there some kind of teleportation door inside the mobile home? since their go-onger mini command center is twice or triple the size of the vehicle
HUH?!?

Not entirely... akalasEDGE pointed out that Hant's got a few jobs going at any given time... and Renn can't have forgotten how to drive a bus.Sonicrain wrote:but green and blue...... useless...

The Wing siblings certainly don't front them any cash.
How'd they get such a big house and the Go-Onger's get a bus.
And how the hell did they pay for it? Twice I might add? (Since it was sold once)

Well I remember someone saying that 'Bear RV' could be a beaver, so the names don't always make things obvious.zeta_gundam wrote:Yeah, I mean Bus-On is a bus... (Kinda obvious.)

Wow we love to over-analyse stuff on this forum dont we.
I'm pretty sure the reason we've had teams with mobile bases is because the enemy attack places all over Japan, and they need a way to get to the action. This is particularly obvious in Gaoranger, but maybe this is just a kids show and they don't let things like collateral damage and insurance policies get in the way of a good time.

Demon beasts called Horrors live in the darkness. This is a story of a Makai Knight who cuts down the Horrors. You better not look away.
