Go-Onger 10 years after?

Sweet, I love Go-Onger and all their actors. I don't know how other people feel about it, but I'm jazzed.

Just sad that there's not going to be a Magi, Bouken, or Geki 10 years after. Hope we at least get Shinken though.

Go-Onger was airing when I got into Tokusatsu. It might not be the greatest Sentai series, but I love it. The characters are cool. The music is fantastic and even though it was quite comedic compared to what came before and after, it was a fun ride.

It is a shame we missed those 3 you mentioned. I wonder what decides which series they pick other than initial popularity and actor availability?

Probably actor availability. I think BoukenYellow got married recently, not sure if pink is still acting, GekiYellow retired from the industry, and MagiPink lives in England or France now?

Geki Blue was the one who from acting
And Shinkenger 10 years after may or may not happen since Tori is now a really busy actor and Rin is getting married.
Now I am just waiting not so patiently for the movie :D , I hope to see what they have been doing during these ten years. Though Go-Onger was not one of the greatest Sentai this really makes me nostalgic since it was the second series I watched and I liked most of the characters. I wonder if we will sea Kegaleshia and the other ministers.

Yeah I don't think they can afford ShinkenRed anymore. Super stoked about this though, Go-Onger had a kinda weak plot but the characterization was great.

(Maybe that's why she appeared in Build recently)

God damn it Luna, you're probably right. Shinken is the one they should do a 10 years after for though.

What else is there? Goseiger can't do, since most of those guys retired. Has it almost been 10 years since Gokaiger? Damn!

Yay! This should be fun. Go-Onger had its ups and downs, but it was an enjoyable series to watch. So I'm looking forward to this.

(Heh. The 10 year anniversary of the series that was used for Power Rangers RPM, just in time for the PR adaptation of the series RPM inspired.)

I would have liked to see a movie for Gekiranger. But that became a long-shot ever since Master Sha-Fu's VA passed away.

I imagine Toei is all-or-nothing, but I for one wouldn't mind a reunion movie with Kaoru as the red ranger instead.

I was just thinking of Shinken 10 Years After with Kaoru instead of Takeru (he could be a cameo).

I'm stoked for this. I always think about Go-Onger lately thanks to the overtly large cast Kyuuranger had, especially since their robos were technically characters as well. Go-Onger did do a great job with characterization and character focus. G12 Formation!

Go-On is how I found TV-Nihon. Maybe this will be an excuse to re-release the older series (Bouken and later) onto HD.....
Something happening on a show turns into a board comment.

Maybe. I heard there's Blu-rays for it, which is nice since Geki on are high def, but I don't know if we had hd raws back then.

Bouken on. And no, you didn't.:(

Honestly even if Toei wasn't releasing Blu-Rays, a new encode would be so much nicer, IMO. Not that the TV caps were bad, but because given the need for reasonable file sizes, XviD was bitrate-starved and doesn't degrade very gracefully. The resulting encodes were basically VHS quality, if not a bit worse in some ways. Whereas with H.264, you can retain DVD quality at a reasonable bitrate (like with the new Megaranger encodes).

Wow, it's been a while since I miss Go-Onger 10 Years After (since episode 1).

Now I'm gonna rewatch this again.

I wonder if:
1. Machalcon will be included in this story
2. SosukeXMiu will happen
3. Gaiark Ministers will return from the grave

I don't anything what I have to say, but I'm looking forward to watch this 10 Years Grand Prix
