According to this, it doesn't seem like a new entry into the Tomica Hero franchise is mentioned at all. The only place I see Tomica Hero mentioned is where it says that it placed 5th on the best seeling properties of Takra for 2009. Does anyone think this means there won't be a third series or that maybe at this point, they don't need to advertise it in these things anymore?N

Yeah, I read the same thing when the rumors of about 3 were going around. I don't know. All it tells us is that they didn't leak info the same way that it did last year

If I'm reading this correctly, Tomica Hero in 09 only did about...half as well as it did in 09?

That's right, but the writing makes it seem like this is an informal post. Mind explaining what the numbers mean by they way (why are some in parenthesis?)

It was from a posting on 2chan about earnings. Though after some reading, I came across this, http://www.tv-aichi.co.jp/TF-animated/ which I think pretty much means Tomica Hero is over after Rescue Fire, which should end with episode 51.

There are a lot of rumors about the third series, they already have a name and they also already know how many people there will be in the team. I'm not sure if I want to believe that, I'm sceptical untill there is an official notice on the show, but from what I've read here, it doesn't look like there will be a third series. I also read that they will instead focus on another show called Battleship Yamato, but I'm not sure if I want to believe that either.

At any rate, let's wait untill Rescue Fire ends. If there is no info hinting of a new series by the 45th episode, then there won't be one.

There's so much information about the third series that none of it is presented in this thread? If TF Animated is taking Fire's timeslot, then it's unlikely there's going to be a third Tomica Hero series

From what I've read, the series name is Tomica Hero Rescue Aqua, based on the Japanese Coast Guard, it would consist of two 2-man teams, the Wave Team and the Storm Team. Later I found something saying that it might be cancelled because TF: Animated is gonna air on the series' time slot. I found it at Henshin Justice and Henshin Grid.

They even had the names of the characters, so I'm guessing they started developing it, but stopped halfway? It's seriously something to think about. But hey, if TF: Animated is going to be on its timeslot, then I guess it's a no-no.

Lol, that's why I said I don't really believe it, rumours are just rumours anyway. I don't even know how those people got the names, it doesn't even make sense lol! You might be right and it might just be a fanfic.
