Re: Cutie Honey 17 released
This is too cool of a show to have batman references.
I’m the one nightmares are afraid of.

Re: Cutie Honey 17 released
I do not really think of Honey's overloading as a flaw though. If you think about it she is not really experiencing any bodily harm, while the others, even Yuki, are. Can having too much energy stored up be a flaw? I mean I just don't really consider it flaw, in the sense that, she herself receives no damage. Miki's weapon is supposed to be a kukri, but it doesn't really resemble one that much.

Re: Cutie Honey 17 released
Miki's weapon resemble Link's boomerang, but with more pointy and rust. I don't know how she can hold it and fighting with it without cutting herself.
I remember having boomerang backfired on me one time when I was a little kid. I threw it only to have it coming back in the same direction trying to hit me. I had to duck. That was the first and last time I played with boomerang.

But Honey stopped being in control of her own mind and body. When she fought Miki, Honey had a smirk that showed satisfaction or something similar. If Berserk Honey killed Kimi and Hayami by accident, she would be completely devastated once she recovers. I can't imagine how she'd live knowing that she killed them herself. I see that as a flaw.

Re: Cutie Honey 17 released
You could always counter that point with "ignorance is bliss." As I recall, she had no memory of the events that occurred after she powered down. So if she doesn't realize it happened it is like it never happened. I hope you understand what I mean. I totally understand your opinion and agree that it can be perceived as a flaw, but at the same time it would be on the psychological level, where as, Miki, and Yuki, are physical.
Re: Cutie Honey 17 released
I think she seems flawed is because of the death of her adopted parents, it kinda messed up her head, but I think with Honey's constantly trying to get her to open up and trying to get her to do things with her, I think she's healing slowly. I mean she did smile when Honey could flash again in the last ep. Honey is starting to grow on her.blazin wrote:I think Miki was not flawed last time, cause her weapon is so new in the past... must b something happened that caused her weapon to become rusted now.... i wonder if Miki can b fixed...

In the flashbacks it looked like he had more of a traumatic experience with Miki.Saejima Kouga wrote:I actually feel sorry for Masayuki. He lost an amazing woman. He doesn't seem to be after her for looks, he acts as though he cares (what little bit he gets to talk/do anything. xD)

Yeah it is pretty traumatic when your girlfriend has blood all over her and a giant blade in her hands....I think most guys would have masculinity issues after thatTuss4 wrote:In the flashbacks it looked like he had more of a traumatic experience with Miki.Saejima Kouga wrote:I actually feel sorry for Masayuki.
