I, for one, really hope that they would drop the case format in the last few episodes and go on a total beatdown with the antagonists, Kamen Rider BLACK style XD.

I'd be good for that. I've been thinking it's time they stop these arcs since the show has to be coming down to it's last 10 or 11 or so episodes and focus on finishing off the Sonozaki family instead. Although it seems to only be giving them power instead.

i don't see a KR black style ending here where memory break saves philipp's day by not having him some sort of internal conflicts of (possibly)killing his family like black had experienced... he could easily face evil wakana knowing that all he had to do is hit her with a rider kick which would just destroy the memory and those that will not undergo a change-of-heart will just have to deal with terui whereas blacks kick could really end up someone to bits... but despite not seeing that this could happen the whole plot still intrigues me very well...
