OOO Trailer 1 released

Post by Phoenix512 »

Kamen Rider Oats is coming really soon. Wait a second, I meant to say OOO but the narrator says it as Oats.

Hmmm, I don't like the music. It's just kind of goofy. It's an alright trailer I guess

Sounded like rap going into ska. It sounds pretty fun to me.

GIANT ANT!

Thank you TV-Nihon for the release

(This way I don't have to write it every time and I'm still showing appreciation!")

"Hey mister, how much for the Giant Ant?"

I was kind of expecting a 'Journey Through the Decade' kind of song. Ah well.

If they have a Ska-Rock combo opening for OOO, I will love it.

The only thing missing to add to the awesome would be narration by Morgan Freeman, and penguins.

Is it just me or was the yellow on that armor blindingly bright?

HUGE shoes (or is that huge belt?) to fill but it looks to have potential. Although I don't see how a medal system can be as versatile as the gaia memory system from a toy making perspective.

Anyone think there might be a connection between OOOs (otsu) and the martial arts exclamation "osu?"

say what,

both are pieces of plastic
both are coloured differently
both work with the driver
both have different powers

sounds like the same marketing/making perspective to me, they do virtually the same thing,

Yeah it's easy enough to make something marketable if you add a few knickknacks. Medals, flash drives...

...Now with medals you can't sell something more functional like you could a flash drive but from a toy perspective it's all the same.

With that said, the music kinda throws me off (Though to each their own). Can't tell too much of the rider just yet.

...was that a giant monster? So I guess Kamen Rider is trying to step in on Super Sentai's turf.

And with that oats trailer watched, I'm gonna go eat my oatmeal.

(Hey, do they sell cheerios or something like that in Japan? I can see a cereal marketing opportunity)
There's a reason why Decade AU Odin's user has not been shown...

Maybe not necessarily Cheerios, but it shouldn't be too hard to find a food product that's shaped like a circle

Also, looks like the answer is "no Cheerios in Japan"

Where have you been? They been doing giant monsters like that since Hibiki, took a break in Kabuto, and then kept doing it every year since Den-O.

In fact they started the Giant Monsters with the Blade Movie and before that with J and before that in Kamen Rider vs Ultraman ^^"

Did i miss hear, or is the narrator Kivat´s voice artists?

I´m really looking forward to this season, it looks quiet interesting.

The giant monsters don't seem to stick around for very long, though. I don't mind the occasional berserk monster that grows to enormous proportions, but I do prefer for Kamen Rider to leave that shtick to sentai.

It looks interesting, I guess. I initially mistook the one shot of a group of Greed for Cyclone, Luna, Trigger and Metal. Seems like Kamen Rider is really getting hooked on certain color schemes. The arm floating by itself about ten seconds into the preview caused me to raise my eyebrow a bit. I wonder what the story is behind that.

Not bad for a 15 second preview. W had a much longer preview out about this time last year, and I honestly wasn't that impressed by what I saw. Just goes to show that trying to gauge a series based on a preview isn't necessarily that effective.

I like that they seem to be sticking with the idea of developing the villains personalities more, that's something that always annoyed me in KR, the villains always felt like disorganised single monsters, having bosses right from the start gives room for better character development.

It's got some potential, but I really hope they don't give Ozu too many forms, it'd ruin screen time if he has to use each combo. Unless it lives up to W's rep.

I can answer that definitively. No cheerios, and in fact, the number of cereals available is quite small. There's cornflakes and Frosted flakes but nothing near as many as are available in the US. Whereas I might see 30 or even 40 different types in my regular supermarket in the US, the most I ever see in Japan is 5 or 6.

I can see curry or bread marketing though ^^
