Super powered Pirates? swashbuckling and martial arts? could be interesting, or a recipe for disaster. I don't wanna judge off the bat of course, but if there's a good story behind the series, then I'll give it a shot.

I thought the same way at the begining but after the conversation held here I am quite excited for it. They may just be able to pull this off. The actors look sound. All of them seem to have personality (except blue).

I like pirates too, I just wouldn't want something like this to descend into parody or satire. and what's this about 'time warping'? if the 'time warping' has to do with plundering from other time frames, that I can deal with.

So long as it does not turn out like one certian KR series (hint: Begins with a D ends with a E and you'll get shot if you say it). I can't help but to use that series, which had awesome premise, and hold it against the newest Sentai. Though as things unravel things look well planned out, unlike before mentioned. AH so long till it airs.

lol i can just tell that the masks was a modified version of shinkenger's masks. but anyways, cant wait for this show. I remember the first anniversary with Gaoranger. the movie was pretty epic. I hope this sentai will have a great movie and series in general

what? no. Only that other five-man special effects show from the west do that. If you saw the promo, the Shinkengers are right there behind the Goseigers. And why would TOEI do that? It's not as if they're hard pressed for cash.

thats not that im saying. but just look at the colors of all the rangers..same as shinkenger. and the mouth of the masks and the back are the same. they just modified it and stuff to make it look new but im telling you. some where in there, there was helmets of shinkengers
