Announcing TV-Nihon FanDubs!!

Relax, we aren't going to stop making fansubs. I just wanted to have some fun and at the same time see if we can reach a broader audience. Less people want to read something they watch than just watch and listen. Flashy subtitles like the ones we use seem to put off even more people from watching. Our goal here is to bring you the shows you love in english without refilming and changing the story. Once you give it a try I'm sure you'll want more. Luckly we have a bunch of great voices on our team willing to take the time to make this possible. So sit back, relax, and enjoy Masked Rider ZO dubbed.

I'm not sure if I'd like an English "Love can't be stopped" though. c_c

ya know, im was kind of surprised by this. you guys could have just made it a joke fest with nonsense dialogue but you played it straight and did a decent job of it too! kind of a let down compared to your past april fools vids but as a fan dub it was pretty good.

TV Nihon needs to up the anty, I don't think anyone was fooled. Actaully watch, it's going to back fire.

An English Dub of ZO? Since I always loved the movie, I decided download this. After watching it, I triggered something right away. Though I am surprised that many didn't realize it.

I've heard this dub before! It's the reason I got hooked on ZO the first time around.

The dub is from the Masked Rider Sega CD game!!!!

Too bad you couldn't add to extra footage that appears on the game only. It would have been a nice April Fool's bonus.

Wonder why the extra footage was never used in the final version of the movie?

I saw this. I immediately thought April Fools joke. I looked at the tracker: IT WAS REAL!!!! Unlike last year's joke it was full size! And Cheetah, didn't you used to do NTN?

Yes it's true. The dub is ripped from the Sega CD game. I spliced the video to match the audio. I've always wanted to do this so I could watch the game without the crappy sega cd video quality. Releasing it on april 1st just made sense.

As for adding the extra footage, I was actually thinking about that. The dvd does come with the it and we did release the footage. The problem is for some reason it was square instead of widescreen. I was thinking of trying to crop it but I would either lose the edges of the wide screen (basicly doing an old pan and scan) or loosing the top and bottom of the square screen which I think would cause me to encode it at a smaller resolution loosing video quality. Maybe someone better at video editing and encoding could get it done in quality but I'm not that confident in my ability to do it.

I would like to mention that the reason I'm here in tv-nihon is because of the sega cd game. I was looking though my old games one day and saw the Masked Rider. I remembered how much I loved the movie and wanted to find it in good quality. Did a search and ended up here. Years after that I was able to rerelease the movie in dvd quality with the making of and deleted scenes. And now I released the english audio version that I loved all those years ago. Perfect full circle.



Yep that was me. I was reading the different complaints about our subbing style and wanted to see what people would think of a simple sub version. I think it went over pretty well and was glad to see other people do the same after I was unable to keep it up. Those were fun times but very tough encoding and releasing the simple sub version of Decade and also typesetting and doing all those effects for the TN release. Also for those that like the behind the scenes information, I cant remember if I mentioned this but I had all the typesetting done and sent in for the TN version before I would encode and release the NTN version. And the NTN version was released a day after the episode aired. whew...
