Eline Suda's name in Japanese would be Erinu Suda, which is an anagram of Eridanus, a constellation that represents "river". Aquarius is the "water-bearer".

It might be a coincidence, but this episode has a lot of parallels to Twin Spica, a manga about students training to go to space. Eline looks sort of like Marika Ukita, a blonde girl who's sometimes friendly to the group, sometimes cold. The test situations are really similar too.

If you listen to Eline, you might notice that her syllable pronunciation is a bit off and she uses a lot of English words.

Overall, I really liked this episode. The test situations were interesting. Eline is sort of an interesting villain since her motives aren't necessarily evil or hurtful towards others, and she does have a good side. Her powers and whip attacks are cool too.

The other guest star, Hyuuga Chinatsu who's played by Nakamura Aya is someone you might recognize from various toku shows. Like she was the human form of Lady Gold from Ryukendo and was in some Kamen Rider shows as a guest.

Eline's mess up in Aquarius form is pretty understandable. Since fu and mu are both prefixes that have a negative meaning.

I'm very surprised by the fact that the crew couldn't recognize that Eline was that Zodiarts right away. Like seriously, you were all trapped in this room, that girl (Eline) suddenly disappears, and the Zodiarts that suddenly appears is a woman. How much more obvious can it get? Like seriously.

So Eline's part American, eh? I wonder if that's the case for her actual actress.

Ya know, after watching this again during QC, I noticed some other fun stuff.

I'm not gonna lie, but Eline does have a point in Yuuki being annoying at times.

Also, Ryuusei's "Washaa" during the test was pretty random and funny. Too bad he had to lie to protect his dignity.

Also, Tomoko sure is good at throwing origamis to the point they can perfectely cover the cameras. Is she a ninja?

Yuuki's face when Eline told Gentarou that Yuuki was cheating was pretty funny XD

You forget that they couldn't figure that Ryuusei was Meteor with all those times he disappeared on them. So of course they can't figure out that Eline was Aquarius the first time around.

In general I like Eline even though I initially thought she was just an angry bitch. As for Yuuki, I didn't really like in this episode even though I like her antics most of the time. This time she really stepped it up to the point of sheer annoyance. She needs to keep her otaku nature about space in check and maybe she could focus a bit better. Also I was thought she was smart but I guess her knowledge of space doesn't equate being overall smart. Then again, I think her tendency to panic is why she perform on tests badly. As for her stealing the camera part, I'm kinda on the fence on this. I can see both sides and just I will have to wait to next episode for the answer.

I'm pretty sure that Tomoka was the one who thought of Daimonji the robot. It was great that Shun sneezed every time he was mention during the demonstration of the robot.

i hate episodes like this.

That girl is a real good actor.
I wish she had been included since the start.

Kinda sad we only get two episodes of her.

Ryuusei freaking out was one of the highlights here... especially during the flashback scene with the meteor music playing

The episode was good. But it was way too fast. This is the type of episode that needed more parts. It always bugged me none of the other Horoscopes are from different countries. Aquarius is way better than Virgo. Virgo has got to be the most wasted villian in KR. She should of been in the show, not Virgo. Aquarius would of been a great foil. Fighting to be on the good or bad side.

The scene at the start seems kind of romantic in a way. not to mention when Eline seems kind of erratic.

Ok, who is the writer for this episode? Whoever it is, better not write Yuuki's character like that or she'll end up in Akiko's Syndrome.

Hahaha Ryuusei, your "Wachaa" in the enclosed space seems crazily fun. And Nozama, here's a tip, the origami doesn't cover the camera fully, better throw some more.

Eline's actor is quite good. Wish she could stay more than 2 parter only.

Pity Makise-kun, got a 'foe of all women' nickname after returning to the series. That's what you get for trapping all the girls in the school bus.

I think they did that to Yuuki on purpose on this episode. Then next episode, they will show her good side that Eline will accept.

Ryuusei's short temper is understandable. He is a fighter, not a leader.

I'm sorry, but I cannot give my opinion on this episode. I've been to damn busy staring at Aquarius's.....well.......you know what I mean.

Riku Sanjo (head writer for W)'s got this two-parter. He did write some really cool eps. before now though so, I wouldn't count him out.

I have to agree, Yuuki was a titch over the top this episode. Just sliiiightly too annoying. Understandable, but still irritating.

I'm actually really surprised that they showed Elaine's father. I think this is the first time we've ever had a foreign parent onscreen, and it's rather refreshing. Come to think of it, there's quite a few half-Japanese half-foreign actors in Fourze. It's a nice change from "Ai kantu supeaku ingurishu".

I will never understand why Japanese think that foreigners make kanji-based mistakes. With the exception of Chinese people, we don't think in kanji, so I'm not really going to mix up muketsu and fuketsu (well, I might, but because they sound similar, not because of the kanji)

What?! But you just said they sound similar... <Head explodes>

Based on this episode alone, yeah, he's a good writer with potential. Although the way Yuuki acts in this episode really spoils the entire episode. Last time I had this reaction is W's season. Better learn from Akiko's Syndrome.
