Re: #TV-Nihon turns 10 this fall
They may decide to fansub more older Tokusatsu programs as well as current stuff. Who knows at this rate. They may decide to reawaken their long dormant Changeman project, they could tackle some of the Metal Hero series, anything is possible. It's amazing to think that you guys have been at it for 10 years. You guys have done a great service to fandom with your tireless efforts to stay ahead of the curve by bringing us what's current and even indulging in stuff from the past as well.
Long may you guy continue.
Long may you guy continue.

It's probably when they subbed Kamen Rider x Super Sentai: Superhero Taisen o.o or... it could be something else :O

Don't sub a new show. It only ends up being complaints after complaints of delays. I guess it could be a one off movie of some kind.

That's if we release more by then. For SD and DVD Encodes, it's usually 18 episodes per batch.hisakuya wrote:Kuuga torrent batch maybe?

Re: #TV-Nihon turns 10 this fall
Well, since it´s entitled "Fall Project" it may be the new Uchuu Keiji Gavan series which is announced to start airing in fall.
Anyway, Congratulations to one of those subbing-groups, who understands that subbing a show does not mean to redo the terms of a culture to make it understandable for another culture. Doing so always means a loss of humor, feeling, message and the true understanding of a show.
Trying to understand a foreign culture is probably one of the qualitys needed most in a globalized world, and for everybody to be honest, the modern Japanese culture is not as difficult to understand as that it would mean to drop every bit of Japanese and replace it. One gets used to it very quickly if one is openhearted and acknowledging certain words in their original kind, which do not exist in the very same meaning in the english language, is something that broadens the mind and allows you a fuller understanding of the world and maybe even your surrounding, since you gain and new way of describing certain things taking place. My mother tongue is German, a language that currently is flooded by anglicisms (english words) which are even used for things one could easily describe with (a) German word(s). However it is often of bigger avail to use an English word because the meaning is simply more precise. Now imagine how related the English and the German languages are (actually English seems like German with all the "unpleasent" things dropped ^^), and how different the English and the Japanese languages are. So, this offers opportunities.
Well, and also congratulations to one of those subbing-groups who understands that quality is something that needs time.
Congratulations to TV-Nihon

Man, this give me a surprise.
For a moment, I thought some of the Tv-N haters posted about it.
Anyway, congratulations from a single fan who started watching your fansubbed series from Kamen Rider Kiva till now.

Wow...Ten years, thats like 50 years in internet time isn´t?
It is truly remarkable for a fansub group to last this long, not to mention being as succesful as you guys.
But now that you have reached the 10 year mark, i guess its time for you to drop fansubs and start your world dominations plans in order to instill a new world goverment.
Let´s face it, we all knew it was going to happen eventually.
