So that violin music in the beginning of that episode was the same music used when Shizuka from Kiva was lamenting on hurting Wataru's relationship with Mio. Interesting.

Not gonna lie, but the scene with the three stooges men crying and going crazy after realizing that Manami-san is a swindler was damn funny.

It's good to see that she's not just an average swindler trying to fool people out of their money, but rather because of a desire to protect something precious to her.

That was a nice ending, Yamagata-san buying the house and all.

XD I love it when Haruto squeak when he spoke Koyomi name.

Also the three pink guys crying together and destroying stuff they bought from the swindler was a pretty funny. Even Koyomi freak out a little bit XD.

The "hype" is finally starting to settle with me. I still love it, but I'm not d**k-riding Haruto every time he attacks a Phantom.
Although I gotta say that Drill Kick was pretty cool. I thought he was just gonna summon a rock and kick through it or something.
Still mad that my beautiful Koyomi isn't getting any screen time.

That scene at the beginning with Haru and Rinko was funny. They have good chemistry together. And the fact that she's actually useful is a plus. This all makes Shunpei's presence even more pointless.

The bit when the smokes stops coming out of the house was terrible.

Action was good again, though not as good as last ep.

Oh, Haruto did a Rider Rochet Drill Kick.

The first fight scene has a kind of messy camera work, but nice job on using the ring pipe setup as a new fight arena. makes me end up getting windy from focusing on all the round ring.

Why does at the end the house looks clean? no sign of it being burned?

So, any clues what will stop the Phantom from attacking Manami again? Just like that Takagi, her Underworld still has the Phantom, although by logical explanation, Takagi already moved abroad. But Manami is still in Japan, I guess?

Good episode is good. Haruto and Rinko have good chemistry, hopefully they'll have more scenes together. I wonder if Shunpei will be useful at any point in this series, Rinko has gotten better since her first episode while Shunpei hasn't. Scene where police chief was still talking when Rinko hung up was absolutely pointless. It was really awkward and the scene should've ended when Rinko hung up, really felt like unnecessary filler with a character we really don't care about. Also, where's Long's character at? It felt like he'd have some sort of role regarding the Phantom attacks, but right now it doesn't seem like it.

As for Airi-san, I guess the fact that she's doing to jail will help keep the Phantoms away from her? I guess you could argue that if a Gate fails to go into despair after a Phantom attack, they're only going to be more resilient to future attacks and it'd be easier to make a new Gate fall into despair rather than have try to keep going after previous Gates. They don't want to kill the Gates either, so if they figure they can't turn them into a Phantom, it's just better to leave them alone.

On a related subject, what do you think the ratio of Gates not falling into despair and Gates falling into despair will be? Right now it's 1:1 (although it went despair, despair, no despair, no despair as opposed to despair, no despair, despair, no despair). It doesn't really matter, I'd just like to see more people fall into despair.

Anyone else notice that it's the first episode where Haruto was actually beaten back by the MOTW (the "low mana" event being an exclusion)?

I was always comparing him to Kabuto because he seemed to own almost every fight. I was kinda hoping that there would be something that showed an increase in the monsters' power before he started to struggle. We'll see if this becomes consistent later on, I guess.

Overall, yeah, he took too much time to use Water form and I'm hoping they'll stop creating rings that work coincidentally perfectly in the same episode. I know, I'm asking for too much.

Oh well. Pretty decent episode. Hopefully some story elements will appear. The MOTW run is getting boring quick.
