Christmas 2013
Welcome to the thread where everyone can brag about any cool stuffs they get this holiday season. I realize it's kinda early, seeing as we're just a day-ish away from Thanksgiving, but I wanted to kick things off, since I know some of my Christmas gifts already.
between gifts from my step-dad, uncle, and brother (though we're not sure if it'll ship in time to make it for Christmas, since the stuff's currently on back order) I'll be getting the Sengoku Driver special set (which comes with not only the usual Gaim and Baron faceplates and Orange and Banana Lock Seeds, but also a Lock Seed holder attachment and the Pineapple Lock Seed), Ryugen set of Grape Lock Seed and Ryugen faceplate, DX Musou Saber + Melon Lock Seed, and a Watermelon Lock Seed.
I can't wait for the holidays. I'll finally have a belt and weapon combo besides my Gatack Zecter and Double Calibur, and something else to sink money into collecting.

Re: Christmas 2013
One of my Christmas presents is Gokai X-mas! I was so happy when my mother called and told me I could pick out a figure for her to order for me. I couldn't resist the idea of getting a Christmas-themed Gai for Christmas, lol.

I'll probably buy some DX Lockseeds and a Musou Sabre so I can get the Melon seed.

I'm still wondering why no Zangetsu faceplate or bravo, guridon, and kurokage sets.Catastrophe wrote:I'll probably buy some DX Lockseeds and a Musou Sabre so I can get the Melon seed.

Re: Christmas 2013
They didn't release it retail at all. You had to show proof of purchase of a DX Gaim toy at a retailer to get it.
They probably won't do DX releases of the side character seeds. Possibly they might do a DX Tamashii Web set right at the end with them all though.

not even bravo, whose faceplate actually changes the sounds? that's a shame.Catastrophe wrote:They didn't release it retail at all. You had to show proof of purchase of a DX Gaim toy at a retailer to get it.

Re: Christmas 2013
Minor Spoilers for Zangetsu Transformation
I'm actually kind of miffed they didn't include a second emblem to use on the Musou Sabre as well, as Zangetsu has his emblem on it rather than Gaims.
Spoiler
Zangetsu's plate doesn't change it from the driver default (Gaims).

Re: Christmas 2013
Sentai Claus (by way of my family and my wallet) was good to me (even if the stuff didn't arrive until the day after Christmas because of FedEx being overloaded).
if there's anything that you can't tell what it is, let me know.

That's really cool, but Japanese toy swords always make me sad with how short they are. Too bad they don't do blade extensions for adult fans.
