Re: Pre-Power Rangers Sentai?
I was kinda expecting that since we'd slightly chatted about it in IRC before. XD I have a difficult time getting into older shows and movies no matter the genre or language.Go-On Macaroni wrote:

As for the shows that were used for 90s Power Rangers, it is fun to see the extra battles/ranger footage/villain footage of the Japanese. And I do want to see OhRanger subbed.
I’m the one nightmares are afraid of.

I know you have a thing against spoilers, but do you have plans to sub that 30min special they released for the Kamen Rider Wizard and Gaim movie hero war? It spoils and yet doesn't spoil the film at the same time.

Kamen Rider Kabuto 1280 HD any plan to do this great show? I know the bluray wasn't come out yet but you still kept the captions right?
Re: Official procedure for requesting new projects...
Any fans of Patlabor here? No one seems to be interested in subbing the new live action series.

I'm sort of interested, but I have way too much going on right now.

So is Kikaider out of the question at the immediate moment?

While Gavan wasn't a failure in my mind, I sort of felt like I didn't get that much out of it. Personally, I'm not interested in Kikaider. Don't know how the rest of the team feels about it.

Re: Official procedure for requesting new projects...
If they use that fucking robot sound effect every time he moves in the movie, I'm definitely not interested.
As it is, I haven't seen anything that shows it's not a similar premise to Gavan - made to cash in on nostalgia and possibly pave the way for a rebooted tv show. Didn't work for Gavan, but I assume that's because the movie sucked.

Re: Official procedure for requesting new projects...
I agree with the sound effect. That was just overkill for no reason. He's an android i.e. he's supposed to not make sounds like that because he needs to hide his identity as one (at least when it's plot convenient.) I attempted to watch the TV show, but can't really get past the first episode all that well. Like with most of the Showa-era live action shows, they shove far too many plot elements into the first episode and never try to explain them (other than here is the good guy(s) and here are the bad guys.) I will say this though; they didn't nearly spam that robotic noise that much during the first episode as compared to Gaim.Lunagel wrote:If they use that fucking robot sound effect every time he moves in the movie, I'm definitely not interested.

Yikes. I feel sheepish. I changed it from 90's to Showa-era.Go-On Macaroni wrote:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KikaiderFangTrigger wrote:Like with most of the 90's live action shows, they [..] as compared to Gaim.
