Yay Kobayashi is back. It's funny how the silly Sentai get the serious sixth members. I like how Zaramu's overly serious nature is played off for laughs though. (That's a hero's entrance!)

No idea what Zaramu's name is supposed to mean though. It doesn't appear to be a variant for black in another language. But I don't think he's just Zaramu Kaijin either. Someone let me know if they figure it out.

He should keep his invincible helmet on though. I like his constant frowning lips. But in all honesty, I'm looking forward to seeing how his background as a former Shadow fits into everything.

I just hope Zett's motivation is an interesting one.

Zalam is definitely a male version of Juvia from Fairy Tail. I think he realized that he would have to fight with Tokacchi is probably why he didn't join with the Toqgers. It's really obvious that if the mecha fight is at the beginning that there will be important stuff going on in the episode.

I like how pointlessly violent Schwarz was with that Kuro. Seriously, why? Just to reinforce that he's a bad guy? It actually kind of doesn't fit with his character, he's supposed to be the calm, level-headed villain.

I'm also glad that we finally know what it is that he's been plotting behind everyone's backs. It'll be interesting to see how this taking over the world with trains vs with darkness thing plays out.

I wonder if that little draisine that Zalam had in his shed will see any use in the next episode? It'd be cool if, as Toq 6, he had a motorcycle draisine. It would really fit in with his character as a rail worker.

Really love this episode.
Loved the character, some kind of lonely "dark" gunman.
Loved Zett getting mad.
Loved all kind of humor, from Light who did not listening at all to conductor trying to transform.

I love ToQ6, but I just wish he'll darken the lighthearted series a bit. Yes his backstory and battle phrase is dark, searching for a death place but i really want him to pull a Meteor and darken ToQ like Ryuusei darkened the Fourze series (though Ryuusei's was temporary just lasting until 32 went past). I want a darker Kobayashi Sentai like Shinkenger. It's not Liveman but Shinkenger is a beauty. Was hoping this guy'd do it and make things serious. Finger crossed! The theme and the link to death with a harmonica. Come on, better than Meteor, PULL AN ETERNAL! Or Reverse-Eternal since Katsumi was dead and is interested to feel like he's about to die again.

You certainly aren't. I had to go back and listen a couple of times to make sure I wasn't hearing things. Zalam does seem a fatalist character. Let's see how his character shapes up.
