Now I understand how they (TV Asahi, Toei) promotes Zi-O as "Ultimate Rider and rewrite history of Heisei Rider". Make time travel without rules, explain logic of time travel by nothing means to rewrite past and create new timeline of old Rider.

What the eff did I just watch? No, seriously; what on earth just happened?

As a rule of thumb I don't care for time travel plots in toku shows. Time travel is hard to write and even harder to write well. Meanwhile Toei's toku shows have to balance all of this with serialization, action, and toy sales. Which means that it quite often ends up a mess, as has once again happened here. Plus I don't know if I can do a time travel story coming off of Build, which itself was a roundabout time travel story.

I don't think I've ever had this dour of an opinion on a Rider show only two episodes in. Not even Wizard or Ghost. It's really that bad; none of this is working right now.

That said, my benchmark for a 1 is Shougeki Gouraigan, and Zi-O thankfully is nowhere near that bad. But keep this up and you're getting a 2 for the rest of the year, Zi-O.

Maybe this will make more sense when I translate it, but I don't feel like I entirely understand what's going on. And it feels like time travel nonsense more than anything.

I assure you, it doesn't make any more sense after you guys have translated it, either.

Okay, so that wasn't just me then. Geiz in particular just seems to be sleepwalking through things. He's not very passionate.

Question, what's the difference between Zi-O and Geiz's belts? It seems like Zi-O's normally has 0's while Geiz's looks like it's got binary on it when he transforms?

I don't really see the difference between the two belts, but i'm not sure if anyone noticed this or posted it in the last thread, Zi-O looks to be based on an analog clock while Geiz looks like he's based on a digital clock.

That would require forethought and planning. Even Toei's best KR shows struggle with that. If the writers actually go that route then I'll be legitimately impressed. Because what I'm expecting right now is a hindquarters-pull.

Also, Tsukuyomi has the flimsiest motivation for not wanting to kill Zi-O.

Well episode 2 is an improvement, Sougo in this episode seems like the man with few words but makes it up for actions, unlike his hollow self in episode 1 with all this "i wanna be a king BS"

Yup, Woz is the man, he hasn't let me down yet, he's there with a solid purpose, and looking cool to boot

So the final events on Build which created the new world is what Zi-O's world is now, Evolt never happened and Sougo's fate was set in motion instead

I like how Sougo was able to realize that he should give back the Time Watches in 2017 so he could get it back when he goes back to 2018

Yup Oma Zi-O is definitely not Sougo, i bet this is where Decade comes in, Oma Zi-O may as well be from an alternate universe, hell, it's probably the Sougo born in the world with a skywall, Zi-O will get Decades watch that allows him to travel in another universe.

Timejackers is still a question mark for me, they're changing for what or whom exactly

The Spanish and Italians do. Whether the Japanese do is whether or not they care about pronouncing foreign words properly.

On that note, if it's Uhr, it should really be ウアー. Wouldn't the French Heure be more likely? The German for hour is not Uhr, that would be Stunde. Uhr is "o'clock", and also clock/watch itself. Hence why it's much more likely to be the French, aside from pronunciation.

But then, if it's Geiz it should be ガイツ.
