I mean, the animated movie will always have a special place in my heart. I rewatched that movie on VHS a million times and still think it's enjoyable to watch now. Plus, great soundtrack.

But maybe Bumblebee will be tolerable to watch. Is it wrong of me to be hopeful that this movie will be good?

To be fair, the first Michael Bay Transformers movie was pretty good. They just nosedived hard and never even tried to recover.

I refuse to acknowledge the first Transformers movie due to the egregious error made when a character paused their game of DDR
