I thought the last quarter of fansubbing was kind of harsh. The Go-On 10 years after, Jinga movie, and Amazons movie were all released relatively close to each other, then the Jinga TV series. And I wasn't a super fan of any of that... Oh, plus the Zi-O supplementaries...

I am looking forward to finding out that they will not use another girl from the Hello!Project talent agency (like Kudo "Umika" Haruka) for the next pink ranger and using that as an excuse not to watch the next Super Sentai.

Got engaged a couple of weeks ago, so I would say last year was pretty awesome.

Unfortunately I got really far behind on Build and LupinPat and didn’t start Zi-O on time but I finally got caught up on Monday.

I know there are a bunch of Filipino people in the fansubbing community. I don't know where we'd get raws and stuff, but if people want to do the work, we can provide the infrastructure and tracker, since that looks toku related.

I don't have anything in particular as a series but just looking of the Ultraman Movies like Dyna Hanejiro Returns. Tiga Revival of Ancient Giants. If there is and possible a full Tiga series and I can only ask that because only before Dyna series aren't licensed for English subs, as far as I know and can confirm for the time being. I wish I could help like providing the blu ray rip, as in the one sold online but unfortunately I am incapable of helping that because the whole set cost quite a fortune in my country currency (about 2400 MYR).

After New Year celebration, I was in the middle of family outing, eating lunch when there's a game store nearby, prompting me to go inside. To my surprise, there's a Kamen Rider Climax Scramble English version (SE asia version) for Switch and I bought it. (takenoko said on IRC chat "Is it good?". Maybe I should write the review after the Story mode is done and unlocked all characters.)

Just how many people requesting us for doing unlicensed Ultraman Tiga? I mean seriously, no plans as of yet 'cuz we don't have the blu-ray raws of that nor available translator to work on that. Tiga Revival of Ancient Giants is like Garo Makai no Hana but huuuuuuge difference between the series and we say no.

Happy 2019 year to everyone on TV-Nihon. I plan to resign from my job in around Feb and then spend around 4 months break before finding a new job again.

I might travel to Japan again to buy and collect tokusatsu books that are rarely available.

Been a real roller coaster of a year for me, lots of stuff going on personally so honestly it's been a bit of a struggle keeping up with the hobby translating that I enjoy doing. Hopefully this year I can relax a bit more.
