Re: Bumblebee. Whaaaaat?
It only took them 11 years, 5 movies and no Michael Bay to get it right.

Re: Bumblebee. Whaaaaat?
I mean, the animated movie will always have a special place in my heart. I rewatched that movie on VHS a million times and still think it's enjoyable to watch now. Plus, great soundtrack.
But maybe Bumblebee will be tolerable to watch. Is it wrong of me to be hopeful that this movie will be good?

To be fair, the first Michael Bay Transformers movie was pretty good. They just nosedived hard and never even tried to recover.

Re: Bumblebee. Whaaaaat?
I refuse to acknowledge the first Transformers movie due to the egregious error made when a character paused their game of DDR
You can't pause DDR

Re: Bumblebee. Whaaaaat?
Saw Bumblebee, it exceeded my expectations. Perfect movie as far as I'm concerned.
Great 80s movie, the writing was excellent, great performance by the likable and relatable main character. Excellent music choice. Had a real fun time all around. A recommend for Transformers and non-Transformer fans alike.
Loved the ending. No fucking forced relationship simply just because.

In this film, Bee reached Earth alone, crash-landed in California. Is this his first time on earth? How to relate this 80's appearance of Bee with previous sporadic wartime appearances of him, mentioned in Transformers: The Last Knight?

Re: Bumblebee. Whaaaaat?
Yeah man, one of the producers is going out of his way to say "No, it's a PREQUEL! Not a Reboot!" But it doesn't really line up at all so as far as I'm concerned it is its own thing, and all the better for it.
Re: Bumblebee. Whaaaaat?
This may be my only problem with the movie is even though it is the best transforms movie scene the 86 movie they keep insisting it is still apart of the original movies. no fan wants that.

Gonna be seeing it on Thursday so I'll give my opinion on it when I get home from the theater. I DID see Aquaman this past week and THAT was REALLY REALLY GOOD!!!

Re: Bumblebee. Whaaaaat?
Went and saw it today since you metioned it.
SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGH!
I can't give it more than a 70%..
I was a great movie however every fucking time that dude opened his mouth.. he just completely ruined it for me.
She didn't need a love intrest.
We get it boi you tryin' to get ya dick wet.
Jesus Christ. He litterly killed the entire movie for me.
Everytime i thought he was gonna man up and do something proper like true proper he fucking wussed out.
bleeh it really sucks to cause she was such a good actor.
I don't quite understand why they didn't just repair bumblebee's voice like sometime during the film. Having him go from Really fucking epic to Baymax in 10 seconds flat was kinda lame.
I was always expecting him to get his voice back or something towards the end. but nope. nothing of the sort.
movie was okay. seem like they also was trying to cram as much music onto the soundtrack as they could for this movie but..yeah
that's my thoughts on it.

Re: Bumblebee. Whaaaaat?
I really liked the ending where they go out of the way to go "He's not the boyfriend" though. That really made the movie for me, since I hate forced love interests.
