Is it just me or does black look fat on the promo lol!, probably cause of the camera angle, then again, i haven't seen the actor playing black, is he that buff?

NO-ONE has seen the actor yet, they've not been announced. They're being announced on Wednesday at 12:30pm in a live streamed press conference.

Definitely getting Kyoryuger vibes from that promo though. Please Toei, don't make Red be another Daigo.

I am more worried about red being another Takaharu or Lucky.

And speaking of Daigo, one part of the series (forgot which episode) that totally made no sense to me was when i thought he was gonna power up, he got all serious and took his shirt off showing his scrawny body with abs then went on a rampage, seriously, i was like, is he gonna power up or something cause it certainly looks like it?, but all it did was him showing his ripped abs lol!, wait that's it

King, Takaharu and Lucky with me is the same.

Idiot red, big mouth, brave and reckless without thinking. But King is better than the other two, due to his actor was acting good, and he got some personality growth rather than Taka and Lucky. Moreoever, King has his body 6-packs and handsome.

Back to Ryusoulger, I saw something similar Armed-On like Kyoryuger. I'm sure Bandai transfer all elements from Kyoryuger to this series, to hope the sales toy improve with dinosaur theme (since Ninninger, Zyuohger, Kyuranger and LuPat has worst toy sales and Kyoryuger is best selling toy series in recent years).

Hope Ryusoulger don't focus too much on Red and the rest too faint.

Maybe it's just me, but RyusoulBlack's costume looked seriously bad in the promo. Also, did the mecha suit actor actually run in that thing? If that's the case, then the mecha fights might not be bad after all.

It really does look that way. Knowing Toei, it's all terribly deceiving and the regular fights won't be like this. But it reminds me a lot of Go-Buster Ace; and if we're going to have a mecha-heavy season like that, then that could bode extremely well.

Definitely looks more mobile that Lupin/Pat Kaiser. I like the fact they have a suit actor for the robot in T-Rex form as well. It bodes well.

The lack of females is really a bummer, was expecting the sentai series in the new era to have a female leading red for once or females outnumbering the males 3 to 2, still hoping the 6th or 7th ranger if this series is going for 2 extra members to be female though like Go-Onger

I don't really care about this feminist-crap or drool over women in spandex, i'd rather watch porn/jav, Sentai has been following the tried and true formula for so long that i thought they try something new, Kyuuranger did a massive 10+ rangers, Lupin/Patran is somewhat a 2-in-1 sentai show, but then here comes Ryuusoul which is basically copy-paste Kyouryuu lol!, i thought they'd shake things up a bit and have a female lead for once and see where it goes from there, a female leading red has never been done and Shinken doesn't count.

I get the feeling that they aren't trying anything drastic like with the past two seasons did because it didn't work as they wanted to. Sentai feels like its been in a slump since Nin, and Kyuu and LVP hasn't done much to change this.

If one is in this state, then emulating one of the most successful series in recent years that has a solid theme (Dinos) thats easy to market to kids is at least a way to make money from pushing toys.

As far is wanting a female lead goes, I get it. But the thing you always have to remember is that these are giant toy commercials that target boys from ages 3-8 or something similar as the main selling demographic. I imagine that when most men where that age, wouldn't want to play with toys associated with female characters because you're still in that 'gross, girls' stage of life.

I don't know why they keep trying to do the sole female in a group of men team though.

Yeah, that's the one unfortunate part. It makes the character interactions kind of limited at times.

Or, like me (admittedly a horrible Super Sentai Fan), they like to watch the 3/4ths of the show where the characters are not transformed and only watch the suit actors because the main actors/actresses are voice acting?

Or, maybe they don't want to watch a sausage-fest where most of the ships are going to Yaoi? (Not that Red/Red in LvsP didn't rock.)

Since Kyoryuger is last series have one female in core team, so 5 years passed from Toqger to LuPat with 2 females from beginning? If this series try to copycat Kyoryuger from motif to concept, I’m not surprise with one female in team.
