Costco Japan markets itself quite a lot to expats. They're the only place to find certain foods (turkey, muenster cheese, fresh blackberries) at a reasonable cost or in fact, at all. It's kinda hard to go there if you don't have a car, and they're always an absolute bitch to get in and out on the weekends, but I still go 2 or 3 times a year.

Expat is usually a term that the expat uses to refer to themselves rather than other people calling them that. It has strange usage.
