It's definitely an interesting take on Garo for sure. Amemiya was probably saw PUBG and thought it would be cool to combine PUBG and Garo and make it a show.

I'm interested. The guys are cute, and the TRON Garo is sweet looking. And I'm weak for (non-videogame) Battle Royale stories. It looks like a great excuse to have lots of out-of-suit fights with swords

Thanks for translating the new trailer so quickly. When this show was announced, I had some concerns about the premise, because it seemed like the past 15 years of lore was being set aside in favor of the video game setting. But the last line of the trailer erased all those fears, and now I'm excited, because the VR setting gives them a chance to do something REALLY different while not breaking the established rules of the universe.
