Kiramei Music Festival Mini Live released
Wiki
That was pretty fun. Pity they couldn't get Psychic Lover, those guys are always fun
But liked the energy between Matsumoto, Onishi, and Deguchi. It's always great to see Matsumoto in general
It's cool to see the background songs and hear them without the action going on. It was a lot of fun to watch this. I think the staff did a great job translating and the typesetting and karaoke effects look beautiful
Notes:
-What's mamarina funifuni? is that the booze?
-I joked about adding a clap track, but it seems like some of the staff gathered to do some clapping at the end
-I wonder if they added the encores because the singers really didn't get much of a chance to sing because of covid

Note: Only HD and SD cuz raw was lower bitrate than a HD720, and even if I did a HD720 it'd just be a difference of 400 kb.

Is the volume supposed to be 1/30th of the volume of a regular episode?

Re: Kiramei Music Festival Mini Live released
Huh, we do normalize all the audio in the encoding process. Maybe the singing hit some peaks and it got lowered as a result? Not sure how the normalizing process works
Edit: Remember this was a live stream. I think what's going on is that some of the audio on their end was lower on some sections and normal on others. It sounds normal during the singing parts, but the parts where they're just speaking is noticeably lower. That's my theory at least

Oops, I apologize. I only watched the first five minutes or so which was before the start of the live stream. I opened the file with Adobe Elements and the visualization of the loudness of that section was a literal flat line. However, after the live stream started it looked and sounded normal.

Re: Kiramei Music Festival Mini Live released
I liked this mini live special a lot. Had some hilarious moments .... And I seriously want to eat Shiguru's hot dog now!!!
It was really nice to listen to all the songs with the translations, thanks for that guys. They didn't have a Superhero Festival this year, so this one was kinda supposed to be instead of that, I guess...? This can't replace SHF, but at least they tried. I really wished they had included at least one-minute-long versions of the character songs and Yuki wo Kana de te.
Apart from that, it was pretty great.
Also, I wanted to ask, where was this mini live special streamed anyway?

Youtube, but it got taken down like two weeks later. Toei is notorious for not leaving their livestream stuff up for very long so you gotta download it while you can otherwise it's gone foreverThenosa Yechette wrote: ↑Mon Feb 22, 2021 12:26 am Also, I wanted to ask, where was this mini live special streamed anyway?

Oh Mamarina Funifuni is the phrase Silver used to describe a kiss in one of his intro episodes.
I forgot this was from YouTube. I wonder if it'll go up anywhere else?

Re: Kiramei Music Festival Mini Live released
I assume Toei's hoarding livestream releases for some sort of dvd extra

Re: Kiramei Music Festival Mini Live released
I know you'll probably say no, but would you guys consider subbing the "Kiramei Music Festival" segment in the upcoming Final Live Tour, at least the Osaka special performance when it comes out? You guys did this one, would you guys consider doing that one as well? I heard that they were gonna stream it on some paid streaming service as well, don't know which one that is though.
At least, consider it.... PLEASE....
