Tassel is back

The scene at the opening with Touma, Mei, and Rintarou walking on the book now include all the swordsmen


These two are siblings

It's kind of a pity that the big fight at the end between Saber/Rin versus Solomon/Charybdis eclipses the good plotting of the rest of the episode. (Mostly because there's nothing exciting about seeing Rin and Touma win again)

The stuff with the siblings working to steal the books, fighting Solomon, and making peace with the northern swordsmen was much more interesting.

Also enjoyed the stuff with Kento. I feel like my opinion of him has come a long way since he was the emo lightning swordsman. He also looks better in his old uniform than he did at the start of the series in my opinion

Kento's going along with the stage play was nice. really ... comical way to bring such an emo character back into the fold. and his mentioning of eclairs was a great touch.
are eclairs trending in japan, or is it just for the show?

what would TVN had named Saber's new Galactic finisher?

the siblings coming into the fold, it makes sense i guess. im all for big teams, but, while i didnt want them gone i feel like ... its cool i guess. i just want to see Kento wield his 2 swords as a dark lightning rider. i feel like Ren's thing is going to be a plot device the change things later on. itll feel tacted on but will round him out.

but Rintaro mentioning the evolving Megiddo is interesting to say the least. i guess thats going somewhere too maybe.

I did NOT immediately recognize touma with the diff hairstyle.

still too many plot threads twisting in the wind, and too many characters not fleshed out well enough to care about.

overall a decent ep.

I think this is one of the best recent episodes. There's no forced drama, everyone seems to be doing something. I liked the Shindai siblings subplot, although their relationship...

I hope we don't have to watch Solomon getting beaten too much, because it'll be like that arc in Zero-One where all the episodes were just an excuse to beat Gai. It seems that Storius will be the final villain to defeat, maybe he will be the one to get the final blow on Izac, or he possesses him and makes a more powerful Solomon.. There's between 6 and 11 episodes left, so I hope at least one Meggido gets fleshed out.

on overtime's HD 18:20 i think or about there. before this weeks and last weeks, Saber Cosmos has used quite a few techniques im realizing, but i am curious how you guys would have translated them since it seems they arent on the wiki or maybe im not looking on the right place on the pages?

If I were better at updating the wiki, the attack names would be on there, but it's mostly a two-man project so what we can do is limited.

For 18:27 Kidoku 既読 means "a book that you've already read", so it's kind of tricky to capture that into an attack name naturally

既読 is usually used as the word for read receipts for text messages

I still think Haou should be left untranslated but since we're not actually translating the series, whatever~

Ooh, this is the kind of contextual stuff I wish dictionaries included in their descriptions

Luna wants Haoh to be left as is because it's a pun on 覇王 "supreme ruler". In this series the Ha is replaced with blade so it's more "ruler blade" when I do translate it

The problem is that the Haoh is part of the descriptor, which we usually translate. Haoh Ken Xross Saber becomes Ruler Blade Xross Saber. Kaen Ken Rekka becomes FLame Blade REkka, etc

Back on episode discussion: fuck the what the hell was the point of having Tassel out for all that time if you're just gonna *poof* him back into existence?

Dunno, maybe Tassel had to go to America to study for a few weeks. Does this mean Tassel is no longer a character in the story now that he's back to being a narrator?

they DID mention earlier that Tassel was recovering somewhere, except they used his real name Victor.

is flame blade rekka gone? or is it just replaced by the Cosmos Blade? in other words, was Flame blade Rekka transformed or is it a seperate entity?

At some point, I'll bet you Touma will have Xross Saber in one hand and Rekka in the other

It's actually getting better. The plot is getting shaped much clearer now compared to before.

I guess the fight now is to complete the book since the pen is already created. I mean, you can't erase and create something in a book without a pen.
