I liked this episode quite a bit as the Megarangers indirectly learn a lesson from the everyday people that they're continuing their lives like normal regardless if they know or not that they might die very soon. I swear that the Megarangers were pissed during the giant fight as they low blowed the moth a few times along with ripping off its wings. I haven't seen a giant fight like that for a very long time.
It was a good episode, speaking of the fight scenes I don't think i've seen one in any of the current Sentai were they're that brutal to a monster. Doukga Nejire was a very well made monster very vibrant in it's color, the suit maker's really did an outstanding job on it. Nice homage to Mika Koizumi (original Bio Yellow) with Chisato wanting to be a photographer, it's nice that they include those little nodes to the past series. Lastly how did the gang manage to save the computer club from closure last episode, last I saw Shun fell asleep at the computer with his finger on the delete key and the others seemed like they weren't in any hurry to to wake him or remove his finger from the delete key?
Defeat the Great Fire-Breathing Monster... use your Ultra Beam and... STRIKE!
How old is the age of consent in Japan? If Miku was going to get married, wouldn't her and Shun be too young to enter that kind of legal contract or are they 18 years of age?
It was a great episode. We rarely get those push no matter what moments nowadays. I found it odd that Chisato and Miku barley had any bruises, but the guys where shooting out blood from their mouths. They must love Galaxy Mega. Mod Edit: They haven't obtained this yet, please don't talk about it yet. - Saejima Kouga
This was a really stand-out episode. Great overall plot, but lots of details to appreciate as well.
Very amusing that Kouichirou was wearing his uniform when everyone else is half-asleep. Couldn't believe that Kenta really checked there, and in front of everyone.
I was really surprised about how Miku's sub-plot developed. She was really going to ask Shun to marry her, wasn't she? Shame those kids interrupted. Although that little boy is probably a great candidate for Rescue Fire, wanting to be a firefighter and an astronaut.
I was on the edge of my seat. Looking back, Power Rangers was kinda flat. I love a plot that keeps you guessing.
Looking back, this episode made me think about how everyone is freaking out over 12/21/2012. I do believe there is a tomorrow for that time (P.S. the Mayans are getting sick and tired of the 2012 prophecy)
The Mayan calendar doesn't even "end" on that date, it just rolls over to a new calendar cycle.
Saying that 2012 is the end of the world because the Mayan calendar ends on it is like me saying the world will end December 31 of this year because my desk calendar ends on that date.
Oh, uh, Megaranger. Right. The Nejirejia beast was actually kind of dumb to tell them that the poison would spread over the city completely if they destroyed him there. I'm not sure if it was a lie to stop them from killing him or if it was true and he was hoping to appeal to their emotions. They already had an antidote at that point but y'know, if it had kept its mouth shut and didn't say anything they would spread the poison without knowing it and them boom, mission accomplished.
But self-preservation probably trumps the evil doctor's plans. Damn you free will!
Like I said before, I believe there is a tomorrow for that time. I don't believe that the world will end on 12/21/2012, even though people are exploiting that myth with disaster movies like 2012.
As for the show, I thought it was great. Monster thinks he's won, but dies fighting the healed Megarangers. I thought it was thrilling.
