Re: Rescue Force 1 released
I was looking forward to this show since the sfx team is the one from the sazer series (wich I think it has some awesome sfx btw) and they just made an even better job! xD. The disasters sound interesting, lets see what other crisis eggs pop up.
Also, the line: "When pretending to be rescue force play in a safe place." was priceless

Not as much as "Explosively suppress the situation".Wayo wrote:Also, the line: "When pretending to be rescue force play in a safe place." was priceless
But wow I really am loving this, the CGI is top notch so much so that i had to remember that it was too real, the characters look good, and for once a rescue team motiefff THAT ACTUALLY DOES its job and only fighting when there's no other path is really refreshing. The enemy is even more cute then Jamanga in Ryukendo in terms of planning and how they act.
and for once it felt evenly pace to me.

Re: Rescue Force 1 released
I really only have four things to say.
1: Whatever chimpanzee handled the drums distracted me from an otherwise great opening theme.
2: The special effects, designs, vehicles, and weaponry are beyond kickass.
3: Why did they pull out the Hammer/Axe to rescue that one guy and then KICK down the door?
4: This show is awesome.

Re: Rescue Force 1 released
#1 looks very Ryukendo-ish which is great because in my little world Ryukendo is awesome to the max
#2 cg blew me away. The suits as well. even the grunts looked good
#3 they went a bit overboard with the dramatic running...and the dramatic standing...and of course with the dramatic stopping
#4 blue is the new red (or at least Tomy's new red)
#5 the apprentice gets the title R1? right! nothing wrong with that...
#6 also R1/2/3/4? that's a bit on the unimaginative side and with a bit I mean a whole friggin' lot
#7 explosively suppress = solid gold

Re: Rescue Force 1 released
This is better than Sentai. It's a better Thunderbirds live action, also.

This looks like it should be a seriously fun show...
Oh... and Wayo... *Smacks Wayo upside the head with a folded paper fan* You could have tried harder not to go with the 'rated R' joke.

Re: Rescue Force 1 released
I love everything from henshin to cgi but i do not like flying Dekabase call Phoenix, The shape and the weight of the building make it impossible to flying, i think it will look better if a plane separate from the building and carry the mecha to somewhere rather tha take whole building. yeah i agree with someone this is awesome live-action thunderbird/sentai

Well, if we start with the "that's impossible", that's the end of tokusatsu...
