So Komura Junko is coming back as writer? I can't think of a staff member who'd take the enthusiasm out of me more quickly.

Koumura Junko again, with robot styles in writing personality character and too normal in story like Zyuohger ? Can't believe with potential story like Lupin VS Patranger, Junko is handle in whole year.

I'm glad they are trying something new. Obviously between this and Kyuranger, they think the formula was getting stale.

I'm interested to see how they'll pull off splitting screen time between the two teams, and how they are going to do extra members.

I just think it's bizarre that they're doing the two teams... and there's also still going to be a villain team. In a better writer, I might be excited, but I'm thinking we're getting the KyuuRanger-too-many-rangers problem times 3.

They are using Patoranger everywhere, because of phonetics. I don't think we have seen an official romanization (doubt we'll get one anyway), but it seems Pato from pa-to-rol is the correct one.

Sad part? "Pato" means "duck" is Spanish, so....

I would suggest to go with Patrol + Ranger = "PatRanger".

Toei used the word PAT for DekaRanger, right?

I wonder if TVN will be using two different fonts for the two different teams.

In my short time in QC, I'm sure the fonts have already been decided. It'll be 2/12 when someone suggests during the first wave a new font and whoever is editing the first episode gets a headache.

I'm wondering if they are going to take turns. Like have one episode be Lupin with small cameos from Pat and vice versa. What probably will happen is the two teams are going to be come one unified team within the first 20 episodes. Thus throwing away the entire concept.

They have to. I assume all the mecha will combine and they'll need an excuse to do it every episode.

Or maybe they'll do something where the two reds are the 'bodies' with the other four being limbs.

That's my expectation. It'll play out like Hurricanger; the LupinRangers (Gouraigers) will start out as enemies, but will change side mid-way through the series. The team colors are all but already set for this, as you have a fairly typical 5-man configuration outside of the two reds (which Toei seems to be fine with these days).

I really hope not. KyuurenOh is already super boring for exactly that reason.
