I liked it, the return to the old school way of doing things is nice, the Pink ranger's civilan outfit design I think i've seen it before in a sentai series, getting major star wars vibes with those weapons the inquisitors lightsabers, i LOVE the design of the grunts they're cool but the one thing i detest is the helmets, disgusting!

i truly liked everything about the first episode. thats isnt to say i didnt dislike anything...

1: the costumes are .... unqiue ... which seeing that they are functional rather than stylized changed my mind, BUT! later on, its going to be obvious when something took more than 1 take to perform; especially in a dirty/dusty area due to the amount of white on the suit.

2: like ... as soon as Mira was wearing pink and white i knew she was joining the team, but did she HAVE to be pink? she couldnt be yellow or any other color? but her hubcap face has 6 points, and red had 5, so at least her helmet isnt less than his? and she isnt skirted. totally liked that, since it was her first day she winged it on the role call, like it wasnt second nature. bravo!

3: screw driver arms cuts like a sword ... ugh ... what? we could get a drilling finish? or something akin to "dividing driver"?

is it a trope for car sentai to be silly?

the bad guys didnt understand how their own car worked. hm! whats that about?

all in all i actually liked it more than i thought.
(i havent been active since i work 2 job currently, but im glad to see the site is still going at it!)

Just found out that this already started. Was out of the loop from toku for a while since the previous Sentai and current KR just weren't clicking for me.

The opening act was actually hilarious, from stopping for the person crossing the street and me questioning the sanity on why the jet booster is pointing in front of the car.
Then a wedding gown for a first boss to top it all off. LOL

Also, is Pink supposed to be in her early to mid 30s? If so, that's actually cool.

I think the only thing that's turning me off so far are the suit designs. Well more specifically the helmets. I hope it eventually grows on me or the show stays really good that I'll just get used to them or just disregard how they look.

Just saw the opening on Ep 2 before posting this... and damn, black's really hot. lol
