I realised watching this episode, Kuon is totally Shinji (Ryuki).

Every week I watch this I end up thinking it's a neat way to save on the budget. Also this week, I payed more attention to Kuon being the focus of the beginning of the OP theme. But then the "final 6" at the end of the OP theme includes Hoshiai, so what do I know. Some amazing fight scenes...

Tsuu Shogun is played by Vegeta's VA, and Ginga Honey was originally sung by Freiza's VA.

But IMO, sentai could benefit from this kind of mecha fight, I was incredibly impressed last week by how awesome it was compared to most mecha fights of recent years.
