So some of you may know that Aegisub is the program we use to generate our scripts. And it's awesome and makes our job easier

But it looks like it hasn't been updated in like 7 years. It'd be awesome if it natively supported this mod:

Or back in SSA days, we could customize F5-F8 keys to just fill in a field with whatever we wanted. Made it real easy to set a style while translating.
Like what's the right way to make this sort of feature request?

Right, I know how to use the mod filter with aegisub, but it'd be cool if it were included in the package natively. I mostly made this post because I wanted to mod aegisub to include shortcut macros though

You just want a Macro that are just not native to program right? is it only keystroke
or key + mouse or set of words? if that just the case you do not need to edit a program
Aegisub use LUA edit so a keyboard shotcut via LUA MACRO like this
