My first exposure to Go Nagai's longrunning Super Robot franchise was one of the spinoffs, Mazinkaiser SKL. As well as rocking to Ichiro Mizuki singing the original series' main theme. In light of Devilman Crybaby's popularity on Netflix, it's awesome that Viz Media took notice. I have more of an affinity with Mazinger than Devilman, despite my tastes in Darker and Edgier media.
It's out now in Japan and Fathom Events has announced a two-day screening of the new movie for American theaters on 2/11-12/2018. I'm going for it.
Go Nagai in 2018 is awesome!!

I'm sure it'll be good. Devilman Crybaby was pretty good so my hopes for adaptions likes this aren't low by default.
