Mantan-web has the report.

The man who took over the role of Master Roshi after Kohei Miyauchi's passing & continued playing classic characters as their franchises continued onward, Hiroshi Masuoka unfortunately passed away due to rectal cancer.

Though many Dragonball fans who watched the old series may know him simply for being Roshi, or in some cases, Jam from Anpanman or Masuo Fuguta from Sazae-san, Masuoka was an active voice actor for many MOTWs/Kaijin from Toei Tokusatsu. Notably, he was the narrator and GaoGod from Gaoranger. For those who've watched Batman TAS in Japanese, he was Lucius Fox.

Last year, Masuoka retired from the business.
