Tour of Costco Japan
Could not resist reposting this short video about Costco Japan.
Something happening on a show turns into a board comment.

Re: Tour of Costco Japan
Costco Japan markets itself quite a lot to expats. They're the only place to find certain foods (turkey, muenster cheese, fresh blackberries) at a reasonable cost or in fact, at all. It's kinda hard to go there if you don't have a car, and they're always an absolute bitch to get in and out on the weekends, but I still go 2 or 3 times a year.

That bag of snacks looks like a pillow
Exceptional value!

An expatriate (often shortened to expat) is a person temporarily or permanently residing in a country other than their native country.

I was gonna list all the series I've watched but there's a 255 character limit. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Oh well.

Oh it looks like it's a mostly British term.

Re: Tour of Costco Japan
That's cause the US uses the term "immigrant" more often

Re: Tour of Costco Japan
Expat is usually a term that the expat uses to refer to themselves rather than other people calling them that. It has strange usage.
