DaiRanger 41 released
The end of the Kujaku arc. I guess it couldn't have ended in any other way. Romances sure don't work out in toku shows, do they?

Re: DaiRanger 41 released
Jin leaves Ryo, The Three Idiots leave Shoji and now Kujaku leaves Daigo.
We must be getting to endgame.

Bittersweet ending though I guess not unexpected in these kind of series.

Re: DaiRanger 41 released
Dai remains as dark and as great as ever.
No other ending would have worked in this series.
Though, I did feel like something else was odd. Was the actress for Rin a stand-in? I don't think she had any lines and all shots of here were fleeting or from a distance. I'm sure it would have been unnoticeable back then, but on DVD quality, it clearly isn't the same actress.

Re: DaiRanger 41 released
I've seen all these, but this is the first time I've seen this one translated. The whole thing about using the tear to purify the world at the cost of humanity is new to me.
Kinda makes you wonder if she'd make the same decision if she'd found the thing in the beginning. She had a lot of anger in her at first, she didn't care if innocent people got caught in the crossfire so long as she got her revenge on Gara.

At what part? In the closeup at the end, it's clearly Natsuki Takahashi.Barim wrote:Was the actress for Rin a stand-in? For example, 9:46, I have difficulty believing that is the standard actress.TBustah! wrote:At what part? Re: DaiRanger 41 released
Stands ins are quit normal for any show. If we don't see the face/far away. It's probably a stand in.
Re: DaiRanger 41 released
9:46 is a pretty close up shot of her. That's definitely the regular actress, there's no way they would use a stand-in for a scene where she's blatantly in the middle of the shot and you can see her face clearly.
