Just as the movie had Fujioka Reiji as a guest star, this one has Kyomoto Masaki. You might know him from Garo or Ultraman.
I loved G3 Mild. It explains away why they didn't build a million G3's to begin with. And who doesn't love a little more Omuro?
And now we see how Shouichi got the Shining Form in the first place.
This aired between episodes 35 and 36, but from the end, you can see that it's a prequel to the movie. Even though it aired after the movie came out, go figure.

Nonsmoking hour
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pWHOHpRfejM
Luna showed me this video to explain the nonsmoking hour. I guess this existed back in Showa days as a way to cut back on smoking at work? When did Japan ban smoking in the workplace, because everyone smoked when I was there in the early 2000s (although I didn't visit any work places).
I think the video's particularly funny when the guy watches a guy light up a cigarette only to go "Hey, it's our nonsmoking hour." and the other dude is like "Man, what a waste" as he puts it out. Tell the guy before he lights up!
Now if only if we could get everyone to mask up properly

That video was 1988. Smoking in offices only got banned in... are you ready for this? 2020. Now granted, most of the time people went to the designated smoking area even before it was banned instead of smoking in the office, but legally, it was okay.

Hahaha, I guess that should be surprising, but yeah, Japan sure loves their smokes

I mean it's Inoue. It could have been a horrific mess, or it could have been a glorious mess. We may have missed out on something wonderful there!Could you imagne the edgy mess that would have come if someone told Inoue he could write 555 for a late night audience?

When did the indoor no smoking policy enforce in Japan? Cause I watched the 2013 真夏の方程式 movie, I still remember the scene where police officers smoking indoors.

Luna said 2020. But up to that point, there were some specific times where no smoking weren't allowed

Re: KR Agito TV Special: A New Transformation
Mostly it depends on location. Up to 2020, smoking was allowed in the workplace, *but* most places had designated smoking areas. The no smoking time I've never heard of before as again, pretty much everywhere has a designated place. The law didn't affect much except maybe some small companies, the bigger ones had changed already
Now smoking in restaurants, however, that's still legal and very widespread, with smoking areas even in big fast-food chains like McDonald's. However, silver lining of COVID, pretty much every restaurant with exception of bars banned indoor smoking by mid-2020. I don't know if many will allow it again once things settle
