Kijima is pretty awesome in this episode, and very obnoxious to translate for.

Way to protect your secret identity, Ryuusei. I actually like the way he got found out as a result of his excessive hubris.

Kijima's puns:
Ashi ga deru 足が出る literally means to sprout legs, but it also means to go overbudget or to expose one's faults, which is probably what Kijima was going for.

A frog in a well is an idiom that means "to have a narrow view of the world"

Ikura means salmon roe, but it's also a homonym for the Japanese word for "number of". Ikura demo iru means "there are plenty of them" (as a response to "how the number of guys stronger than Meteor are like salmon eggs"

Sentaku is just a pun on "choice" and "laundry"

Great episode title.

On one hand I’m happy they didn’t use CGI for the life rings Kijima is extracting, but couldn’t they have made them look a little more elaborate than something out of a carnival ring toss game?

Gentarou’s grandpa is pretty cool. I’m surprised that they’re hinting that his parents have a larger role to play in the plot.

Oh Chairman - I can’t tell if that “mind control en mass” is a joke or more foreshadowing.

Reverting to normal in an enclosed space with an enemy nearby who just told you that he’s trying to figure out your civilian identity? Such a boneheaded move, Ryuusei. Kijima had some enjoyable puns, but I think my favorite line was where he admits that even he was surprised that a plan like that worked.

I think Mag said that the policeman is the same as one of the ones from before. So it'd make sense that he'd be looking for a more permanent solution to his police problems.

But it makes sense for his character. Since he's arrogant and confident in his abilities, he really thought that he had beaten Cancer and driven him away. Like having a flaw like that which fits his personality and works in the story development is kind of nice. I also liked his monologue with his Meteor disco BGM playing too. That was funny.

God Kijima needs to stop using puns. I hope he dies soon cause trying to figure out his dialogue is really time consuming.

Shun is such a preppie. I like the part when JK was eating nuggets before Kengo came out with the new Nugget Foodroid. Oh Ryuusei, you're really like a meteor. Started up high before crashing hard to the ground. Also Ryuusei could have avoid the whole situation by not fighting Cancer at all. But no, he had to be a badass and try to defeat him.

Good thing Gentarou's reasoning for making friends is rather pure compared to Ryuusei who vows to never make another friend. I think Ryuusei will be in a shock when Gentarou knows the burden of friendship as well.

psh... I hope Kijima gets his ass kicked next episode. I can't stand him anymore. I hope the other horoscopes that'll join later in the show won't be as cheeky as him.
