I like the detective-story approach used to tell this story. Makes everything feel rather intense.

Creepy Poppy, and why does Kenzaki look like a drunk guy when he appears? And of course Shocker is the enemy again.

Looks like the coffee stain on the carpet has to do with the mystery being solved?

Kenzaki didn't look drunk to me.

I felt like the pacing was very bad at start. Literally nothing happens in the first 5 minutes, so extending it to a 32 minute episode was unnecessary.

But once it got going, it was pretty good. I like the actual focus on the guest star Riders. Usually their cameos are so short and pointless. I still feel like they could have been used a bit better, but this was okay.

I think I had the Riders being dead connection figured out around when Kiriya showed up. I was wondering how they were going to explain Kenzaki's appearance.

Also, I love all these actors/characters and it's awesome to see them back again. I'm not sure if this will be as solid and amazing as Kamen Rider Yongou, but let's hope!

Flashes of brilliance among repetitive dialogue and unnecessary ambiance. Could have easily cut out 10-15 minutes of it without missing anything.

Take a shot every time Emu says he "has a feeling"

I'm liking this, the first installment does a fine job focusing on the other riders, and that the original actors are back and not doing a cameo and be pointless.

The detective approach seems to feel right for this as everyone is wondering why they are here and they know the one thing that they have in common, except being Kamen Riders since it's obvious,

and that they're dead but where does Emu fit into this whole thing since he's still alive and seems to know everything despite having some sort of amnesia of everything about their predicament.

now I'm wanting more

Aye. This has a lot of potential, and I love a good whodunit. But this episode was slow; not only did not much happen, but not a heck of a lot was said, either. If you're going to pay for these actors to show up, have them talk a bit more.

Though no matter what, it's an interesting cast of characters and it's great to see them again. Especially Kiriya. (However I don't buy for a minute that he would ever turn on Emu...)

How many of these are we expecting, anyhow?

Meanwhile, in terms of production, it's interesting how different this is from a regular KR episode. And I don't just mean the pacing. The background music is very subdued by KR standards, you can clearly hear all of the sound effects and jingles. It's fun seeing a KR production where the audio is mixed by someone who isn't hard of hearing. Though I find it surprising that there's no theme song for this series; Yongou got Destination Time, and even Brave got Timeless Blue. This has no distinct songs or soundtrack to speak of. Also, I feel bad for whoever played the Shockers who got thrown into the water. It looked pretty darn cold where they were filming that fight

Random observation: Baron and Malika have been "promoted" from Armored Riders to Kamen Riders

Also, Gaim riders are always known as Kamen Riders in crossovers, so it's nothing new really.

After I see the preview for ep2 in the end this ep1, I can guess "something" about Emu in this KS GoRider, hints:
-anime Re:Zero Kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu

-KR Drive-Faiz spin-off (sorry forgot the title)

I literally never thought I'd see Another Agito again, so it was cool not only see Kino, but to see Kino actually call himself Another Agito.

And since Gaim is my favourite series, it's great to see Baron and Malika again.

Do I need to actually watch Ex-Aid to understand this? Because I can't get past episode one before giving up because the suits are ugly as hell and just all the game gimmicks are annoying.

Hmmm, yes and no. For the most part, you can understand it without Ex-Aid, but it does spoil a major episode 12 plot point. If you don't care about that, then you should be good to watch it.

You're missing out, man. It's a fantastic series.

Well, there's potential with all these characters, but both setting and story is very dull at the moment.

His deep voice is amazing. He should have did more voice work.

Putting some additional thought into it, given that this is Kamen Sentai GoRider, I'm going to be a bit disappointed if the Master isn't a Sentai hero of some sort. Maybe a recently deceased Red, to go with the trend?
