The idea was good, but they shoul've shown Raikou's darkness differently, it was kind of like "Spider-man 3" and the dance.

I wonder what consequences this will have in the future for Seimei.

So if Ryuuga had Seimei, he could have saved himself a lot of trouble restoring the shine?
