I... don't really like Mabushiina's baby cherubim face. Gonna be hard to look at her all season.

For a brief exposition/intro episode, it does alright. Kinda wish we had seen more of the recruitment, but I guess it's just one of those things you have to handwave. Of course this group of incredible people are all ready and willing to fight for an alien's cause, with no questions asked. Additionally, they're all capable of taking time away from their careers/lives to do what is functionally a full-time job.

The crystals are sort of annoying, but I know in the beginning they really like to hammer you over the head with everyone's catchphrases and gimmicks. Hopefully things will even out later.

The fight was actually pretty sweet! My opinion on the suits is largely unchanged (too solid-color), but the battle effects were really nice - especially Green jumping off the wall. That was awesome.

Really felt like this didn't need to be longer than a main episode. Got kind of bored with it really.

They look good while fighting and the characters/actors seem pretty good. I agree, I hope the Kiramei Stones aren't too annoying once the series starts. The main characters seem pretty good, so hopefully they have good stories around them.

Hope this isn't the last time these guys get the spotlight without red.

Honestly thought the subplot about red wasting Kakihara's time was kinda nice character building. I wonder if she'll be back?

Sayo kind of strikes me as half way between Ahim and Luka. Prim and proper and well-mannered...right up until she sees sparkly jewels.

I kind of liked it. It seems like this has the potential to be a true camp classic. I am getting some strong Kamen Rider Den-O Imagin vibes from the stones.

I've been looking at some images of upcoming monsters and they have a real 80s/early 90s looks to them.

It is an interesting choice though.

henshin calls to hurricanger, and even to DRIVE a little.

I think it has some potential... frankly, It's WAY too early to make judgments, although I hope the aibo theme from go-onger doesn't fall flat this time.

Say are you guys using a new format or something? I'm having trouble playing the episode, it keeps giving me "server execution failed". I tried downloading the 720 version and got the same thing. The KR Zero One played fine.

Sounds like the Windows Media Player bug that always happens when I try to play two files in quick succession. I'm not getting any problem with Windows Media Player though, so that's weird.
