That does remind me of the thought I had the other day, "Is this really all we're getting from this anniversary?" What was all the hype about if we're just getting references to past Sentai series?

I'm not sure how I feel about this show. I want to give it a fair shot so much, but the humor and storylines aren't working for me. Also, the main character's costumes, their civilian forms, are so cheap looking for a look that is going to be the only one we'll ever see them in. Idk, look at the costumes for the non-human members of Kyuranger, they were much better looking. And I can't get past the bulky mecha-looking armors. What a stupid idea to be honest. They manage to move around more than I expected, but still, not great for fight choreos, one of the most important aspects of a toku show for me.

I don't use recreational drugs, but I do have to wonder if their use would make the mecha fights look better?
