So Julio's back story: "I was betrayed, so time to join a cult"

The hero fighting in VR to find a breakthrough to powering up is one of my least favorite tropes. The best power ups are tied to some sort of character growth, but there's not always a lot of opportunity for that in VR. Frankly, it feels like filler

Sakura and Julio's friend, time and place. Don't distract him when he's fighting a dude. Really liking the improved characterization of the trio of bad guys though.

Has that always been Orteka's kaijin form? I literally can't remember

Oh that's neat. A firce and ice duo. Cool concept, dialogue sucks ass as always. I complained that Barid's form sucks, but Revi's ?magma form is pretty good

It's a cliffhanger fakeout. I wish they'd stop seeding that something's up with the neighbors and like do some actual shit with these characters. They've been around since episode 1 and aren't doing jack shit 17 episodes in
