This is making the rounds so might as well include it here that the man who is voicing Vice (one Kimura Subaru) is noted scum who has blatantly done full-on blackface before and made some posts mocking African culture. (Source. Concerning imagery, btw).

I wish they'd recast him but I don't know if the staff would bother. They might have the wrong opinion about this and keep him despite it all...

Also... I have no intention to be rude, and I'm just seeking knowledge here (and please, pardon my ignorance- I genuinely do not know), but what does "blackface" mean in this context?

Blackface is the practice of darkening your skin to make it appear as if you're mocking Africans or other dark skinned people

Episodes of Community and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia were pulled because of the backlash to such practices

Unfortunately the practice is still occasionally done in Japan due to lack of context/knowledge. Kimura however is fluent in English and should know better.
