Which resolution do you usually download TV-Nihon videos at?

Subject line says it all. What video resolution is your "best match" when downloading videos from TV-N, and why?

For me, since I'm transferring them to a Plex media server and then viewing the videos either through my tablet or my television, it's usually the HD (1080) resolution.

I download at 720p mostly to save some space on my HDD, plus I have farly small screens so I don't really need the higher resolution.
Recently I've been thinking of downloading the 1080p versions and then burning the entire series to a series of DVDs (for personal use obviously

For me it depends. The weeklies i usually get in 1080 & 720, complete shows it depends on how big the batches are and what's being seeded the most.

SD is enough for me. It save space and download time, and the quality is enough for my screen and the player I use.

I download the 1080 and SD for archival purposes, I ignore the 720 because I'll run out of space on my backup drive if I try to keep everything.

There isn't one answer for me.
If it's a series I really like, such as Build, or a movie I'm looking forward to, or maybe an episode with the debut of a form I've been waiting to see, or if there's a good wallpaper-worthy shot in the episode, I'll download the 1080.
If it's a series I dislike and/or am just watching for the sake of my podcast, like Zi-O, I'll go with lowest quality.

I have almost always downloaded the SD version of everything, mostly because I'm used to being data-capped. It's become sort of a habit now, so I download SD even if there's no data restriction; unless I really want otherwise (or there's a problem with the SD torrent

No bandwith caps here. I've only ever seen "unlimited" broadband and whatnot advertised here so i think there aren't data caps here since like dial-up?

though i've heard some horror stories about how ISPs are in the US. You have my sympathies.

What country are you from?

My current ISP doesn't have data caps as far as I know. My last one, I think it was ATT or Yahoo said it did, but they never hit me with it since I think I was paying for their most expensive service. I live near San Francisco.

My current ISP is kind of cool since they're a startup so they're relatively small and have a reasonable flat rate for good speeds.

I usually download the 720p version a lot of the time, 'cause as long as it's HD, I don't really care, tbh. I watch most of my stuff on a 50 inch 1080p screen, and I only get the 720p to save HDD space.

Do I have a data cap with my ISP? Yeah. It's about a TB.

Typically 1080 HD. I'll discard the file after watching it if it isn't a series I'm interested in archiving and will keep it if I do.
