Fourze 32 HD Audio Desync

It seems that everything the opening sequence and before in this episode is desynched. I've once again checked the CRC, as well as the video itself with Windows Media Player, GOM, and the newest VLC player, and I've especially noticed the desync during the opening, where the sound of the KRC flipping the switches comes after the switch was flipped. There are also some minor desynch when Ryusei's fight with the Dustards begins, but it may just be me. Can anyone else confirm this, or am I looking into this too much?

might not be just you. i just watched it and although an awesome episode the audio seemed to desync and resync throughout the episode. in may have been the encode or the master itself. the encode might be fixable, the master, well, take it up with tv-asahi.

I think the master was fine, because I watched a RAW the other day and saw no issues.

we use transport streams for the HD of Fourze, so its very much different to the file you watched

I dont watch fourze, I was just stating we use the source transport stream for the HD encoding, this includes the CM's which we have to cut out and then get it all back together, this is where the desync occurs, its not always an exact science when it comes to negative audio delays as is the way with the transport streams

Yup, I experienced the desync as well, especially during Ryuusei's barehand fight, because he fights so fast, thus the obvious audio desync.

I've also noticed that it's desynced. Along with the dustard fight you can easily see this when Gentarou is transforming; he's half-way through saying "henshin" before the audio even starts. I'd say the audio is about 250ms late by that point.

Weird, just watched the episode and didn't notice, but yeah, it's desynced...

I'm glad it wasn't just me. I especially noticed it when JK ripped up the script. The sound came after he ripped it.

I thought it was just in Ryuusei's barehand fight scenes. >.< So, will there be a v2?

I didn't really notice it when I watched it, but now that everyones talking about, I remember that some of the sound effects came late, like a half second or so after they should've happened. It's not constantly off. It desyncs in places and then resyncs fairly quickly. Shou's little sound effect when he does his salute to Ryuusei at the end was off and didn't sound until JK did his motion next. The desync isn't a buzzkill or even annoying. It's not even noticeable at times. Like I said, didn't notice it was even a problem until people were talking about it.

I couldn't begin to tell you what might be wrong. But I hope I help by being another person to help point things out.

Yes. It's desynced. The subtitles are synced to the audio. But the video isn't.

The sound is out of sync. I don't think it resyncs; I suspect with toku there's so much dialogue without being able to see mouth movements that it's easy to think the sound is back in sync. The sound effects are also usually so frenetic it's tough to associate them with onscreen action easily. But when regular humans are talking you can see the mouth moments not matching.

Yes it is out of sync. It's not the worst desync but it is noticeable.
