The ep itself was alright, didnt quite have the same emotion that the last two eps did, but it was nice none the less,
Note: 21:45 thats just creepy dying with a smile on your face
quite an interesting way for the main two villains to die off, considering they lasted longer than yogestien did, nice and touching that saki placed their hands together in the end

It saddens me that G3 Princess is forever gone.

Re: Go-Onger 49 released
So Yogo's dad is slime. Not surprising.
I thought there was something a little off about this episode, but it was good enough - solid battle scenes and some powerful moments between the two trios.
Kega and Kita's death scene will probably rank as my second favorite moment in the series. It was masterfully performed. Their final words, the failed attempt to hold hands, Saki's compassion in joining their hands after their death, and the silence underlying that whole moment. It was so touching.
I love the music that breaks the silence - the same as the kitchen weapon march in GP 36. One of the best BGMs in the series.
I was more amused than I should be that Sousuke was the only one that had no trouble slinging his jacket on. He was also the only one that looked like he put his helmet on correctly at the end. Saki's hair was still visible over her shoulders and Ren pulled it down so low that you could see the top of his head.
Gotta love the introduction of a Deus Ex Machina to help wrap things up.

Re: Go-Onger 49 released
Is this the first time ever they have lengthened a season?
I know they have gotten shorter, just never heard about longer, This really raises my opinion of TV-ashi! (Like it wasn't in the clouds already.)

Re: Go-Onger 49 released
Well Just did some checking on the wiki. and for gingaman, and go-go-V they were 50 eps and timeranger-hurricanger 51.
So not a first but pretty rare.

Re: Go-Onger 49 released
They haven't, almost every season runs exactly one year (the new sentai has started on the third sunday in February for several years now), it's a coincidence that Go-Onger had less preemptions than other seasons.lostinbrave wrote:Is this the first time ever they have lengthened a season?

Yep, and Changeman had 55. I think it's the longest (well besides the obvious Goranger).Azazel wrote:wasnt extended it just ran for 50 eps, just shows how much awesomeness it has over kiva to get a full 50

Re: Go-Onger 49 released
I'm really surprised that Kegareshia and Kitaneidas died, I thought they'd survive the series since they weren't really all that villainous
I didn't get the reference till Adam pointed it out. Now it just gives me infinite giggles to know that device is what (according to Bomper) will bring the heroes back. How convenient!PHurricane wrote:Gotta love the introduction of a Deus Ex Machina to help wrap things up.

Hmm possibly a bit harsh as it could of been someones wishful thinking rather than a demand.Azazel wrote:how about, you shut the hell up, it will be done when its readyTiger-Trident wrote:I WANT THE NEXT EP AND PREFERABLY LIKE NOW. it's to freaking much of a cliffhanger to bare.

Re: Go-Onger 49 released
Kitaneidas finally got his chance to take part in a roll call.
Yogoshimakuritein is one cold hearted guy. Equating Kitaneidas and Kegareshia to expendable Uguts was mean. Using them as shields was vicious. Sacrificing them to attack the Go-Ongers was cruel.
There wasn't as much emotional impact compared to the previous two episodes but that is understandable. The previous events were surprising and tragic. It is hard to reproduce that same response now that the audience is fully prepared for it. Nevertheless, the moment of silence for Kitaneidas and Kegareshia was still touching, in a somber way rather than heartbreaking waves of grief.
So... Ginjiro is named after a dog? As if the Go-On seminars weren't random enough.

Me too! I thought it would last like one or two ep, but for three ep in a row?!Altaisen00 wrote:OMG! Great episode through 47-49. Its made me cry.
And that was...okay roll call they gave to Kitaneidas but at least he had something. Yeah, it was kind of Saki to put their hands together.
Hant and Gunpei as well as Kitaneidas and Kegareshia didn't make it. Hiroto was only one that was able to reach Miu of course they knew before that they will disappear so.
