spoiler]The whole "sacrificing everything to become a hero" sounds like it was taken straight from American comics. At least, for some superheros. He's just really misguided, and the scientist isn't helping.[/spoiler]

Yes it is. It makes you wonder why the producers of the show didn't do a better job for that.

It's called an effect. It shows how Kitaoka's words are getting to Reiko. Notice that it starts up again when he says the line "Open your eyes already"

This episode was pretty good. I don't understand why Shinji would "cancel" his Survive form?The battle was over but shouldn't he just leave the Mirror World then? LAWL xD

I think I'm at the point that I like Shinji the least of all the riders. He's just a spastic, idiot <raises hand> that can't seem to accomplish anything.

Just a side-note, when the translation said "Chosen...Chosen..." for Yui near the end of the ep, she was actually calling out the names of the monsters...not that it matters...

Have to agree on that. Truly more twisted than even Asakura(Who did save some girl for his own gain.)

That said, I expected a fight between Ren, Kitaoka and Asakura when Asakura and co leaves an idiot Shinji alone( What else will he say "Let's go." for?)

Man it's the "bag on Shinji" episode, he just can't catch a break. Well I bet Kanzaki's happy now that Alternative Zero's been killed. Nice seeing Kitaoka actually question if he's getting weaker & considering being more like Asakura for fighting, I guess both Shinji & Reiko have had an effect on his personality actually softening it to the point he doesn't want to see Reiko get any more involved in the Rider War.
