Where were they putting those Cell Medals? In his pants? Birth didn't need to suck up 1000 Medals to do his Birth-Day mode.

Neither do I but I thought they were the Rider Girls which someone said they aren't. Gotou being a rock and being able to damage Kazuri with a rocky headbutt was pretty funny. And Hina using her strength to inflict damage on a Yummy was about damn time. I think the 1000 medal thing was once again reference to the 1000th episode of Kamen Rider but it was nice to see that all the parts can combine into something even though where the Medals were going to is another question.

I would like to see the fake movie they shot. It would be an awesome extra to have.

Well I felt this episode raped my mind less then the last episode. Though yes it was full of zany 1,000 episode stuff but I think it was better then last episode. Let us home when they reach the next celebration of episodes that they do not repeat what they doen here.

Though for once I would love to say something about the preview for 29, and I do not wish to put this in spoiler tag. Why, because I would like to warn people who hate spoilers- don't watch the preview.

On the other note I would like to say in spoiler one thing:

The medals where going into the belt. The belt loading sound was going off. It was still weird. How do you cram 1000 medals into that thing. And how do they know it was 1000. The belt has no screen. This episode was very bizarre. I liked it, but hated it at the same time. The girl references where a bit weird. It's probably because I don't get what they are there for. Hina finally doing something, great. Could of just rammed yourself at the bad guy. She runs away a lot. But wouldn't she have like a resistance to hits too?

As for preview... Total surprise.

I think once a medal is used by Birth it becomes inert, so they prolly don't reuse it.

As far as the whole 1000 medals, that might just be to activate the mode for the first time. Kind of like when you start a computer for the first time it takes longer and more power to initialize. Would be a bank breaker otherwise.

Can someone identify all of the combatants that they used, i was able to identify the Masquerade Dopant, Shocker Combatant, and Larva Worm. The gold ones KINDA look like Zect troopers that have been modified but i don't think that's what they are.

And look, a new toy....well, less a new toy as a new-ish version of scorponok. But its a land type that can learn surf! So...yay?

...The combatant's pride was a nice way to go for this. Not that its been a clean couple of episodes, but they were entertaining enough.

I've re-watched it, and have some other additions.

The fight was kind of weak to be honest. Injuring Date to but a handicap on the fight was kinda pointless, Kazari always seems to stomp him (and he's nearly powered up all the way now, so it was moot). Ankhs comment on him having not long to live or whatever, seemed kind of random. Did it pertain to his injuries (which weren't that serious, as he was directing and fighting without any real looking damage), or is it a reference to what Maki said a few episodes ago? (saying something like someone in his condition).

Even if the 1000 medals was an episode reference, it seems kind of pointless. I mean, if it needs that much energy to be executed, it's kind of a pointless function as the rider wouldn't want to use it without wasting a whole bunch of cell medals. Not to mention, Date seemed not to know of its existance (unlike the function from last arc that used all the CLAWS at once).

Highlight of the episode was definitely Kougami trolling however. That man and his swag never disappoints.

Anyway, congratulations on 1000 episodes Kamen Rider. May the next 1000 be even greater.
