The show's OK. The stuntwork's good. Azami was awesome, though leaving her a loose-end was a bad idea.

Strangely, I subscribed to Toman/Takane's youtube channel, where he tries out new makeup or trying out a otokonoko cosplay.
The haters all around this world can drink Childish Gambino's daycare while I, the insignificant nobody they branded as, continue to survive & thrive.

I can only speak for myself, of course, in the sense that I've been a GARO fan since the first series debuted on this site (yeah, I've been patronizing T-N for a long time) and for me? This was an excellent addition to a consistently strong franchise. I love how unique the world and aesthetic of GARO is and the strong emphasis on human interaction and drama, and the SPFX always tend to be excellent as well. Yes, I know, this borrowed from the likes of "SAO", but to me the writers took a different approach to it that emphasized how the game was affecting and often ruining the players' lives in the real world, and took also a really harsh and grim view of the violence in the game world in the sense that it was ugly and not glamorous at all. I found it to be a unflinching commentary on human nature and how self serving and greedy humans tend to be at times like that and in situations like the one portrayed in the series. I also detected more than a bit of sarcasm directed at the kind of gamers and otaku who are Internet tough guys and how they discovered the hard way that this game was for real and that they didn't measure up to their rhetoric online. In general, I enjoyed it and I'm eagerly looking forward to what comes next in the GARO world.

I would prefer it to be a movie instead a serie... I would also like much more the final fight if it were at the Yami Garo Vs Jinga combat level CGI

What if Kuon is right. He said "There is no GARO in this world!" That means there will be No Golden Makai Knight.
