these were my first introduction to this site, and the official subs sucked by comparison. actually, i think someone named azrael did the subs? but def got them from here. glad to see their back. actually when i wanted to deep dive super sentai, i found myself back here, and coming again and again, and finally joined the forums.

Azrael doesn't sound right, but I don't remember the translator's name off the top of my head. But I think they consulted him when they localized the official DVDs so I'm not sure why the official ones weren't as good (probably censorship?)
We have a discord, but it's mostly just a group of us hanging out who've been longtime members. Not a lot of discussion of toku or anything sub related. There's better discourse for that here on the forums

the official subs were bad with names when they were addressing each other. add to that they didnt feel organic.

Oh, now that I think about it, didn't I translate Headmasters? But yeah, the official subs might have used the American names. So I definitely didn't get a deal with whoever licensed the Headmasters
